How to find Oracle Fusion tables and work out their joins

The hardest part of Fusion SQL is rarely the SQL. It is knowing which table holds the data and how it joins to the next one. These are the practical ways to find out.

Start from what you know

Browse tables and relationships

The free ERD Explorer on this site lets you browse more than 15,000 Fusion tables and views and see how they join on an interactive diagram. It can also generate the JOIN path between any two tables. Open the ERD Explorer.

Let the editor suggest the join

In FuiSQL, type an alias and a dot, and the editor resolves it from your FROM and JOIN clauses and lists that table's columns. It also suggests the join condition between the tables in your query and offers a short alias for each table. For tables that are not directly related, Suggest Join Path writes the whole join.

Drill down from a result

Right-click any result cell to jump to the tables it belongs to, or the tables that refer to it. A breadcrumb trail takes you back, so you can follow a value from one table to the next without losing your place.
